外国语学院外教工作部拥有外籍教师36人，其中英语外教31人，日语2人，西语2人，韩语1人，主要来自英国、美国、加拿大、澳大利亚、新西兰、南非、日本、韩国、西班牙等国家。外籍教师的学历分布如下图：

外教工作部的课程教学主要分为三个组（programe A, programe B, and programe E），负责全校大一(programe A)大二(programe B)非英语专业学生的口语课程和外语类专业大一大二学生(programe E)的口语课程。外教口语课一直坚持采用 “小班制”教学，每班人数不超过25人，充分保证了我们的英语口语课堂用语全英化、规范化、课堂教学生活化、课堂活动丰富化、课堂效果实效化。

除了日常的口语教学，外教以各种方式活跃于校园的各个角落，全方位地融入校园生活。我们开设了英语、西班牙语、日语、韩语等口语角，World Geography and Cultures, Leadership, Public Speaking等课程，优化外语学习环境，让学生有更多的机会与外教接触，了解世界文化，发展兴趣爱好。

Introduction to the Foreign Teachers’ Affairs Department

The Foreign Teachers’ Affairs Department of the School of Foreign Languages boasts a team of 36 foreign teachers, covering 4 languages: 31 for English, 2 for Japanese, 2 for Spanish, and 1 for Korean. Hailing from 9 countries including the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Spain, they hold diverse academic qualifications: 2 with doctorates, 15 with master’s degrees, and 19 with bachelor’s degrees.

The department runs three teaching programs (A, B, E), delivering small-sized oral courses (≤25 students/class) to non-English major freshmen and sophomores (Programs A & B) and foreign language majors (Program E). The all-English classrooms emphasize practical, life-oriented teaching with diverse activities, ensuring tangible learning outcomes.

Beyond daily teaching, foreign teachers enrich campus life by organizing language corners (English, Japanese, Spanish, Korean) and offering elective courses such as World Geography and Cultures, Leadership, and Public Speaking.

These initiatives foster immersive language learning and cross-cultural exchange, contributing to a vibrant international campus atmosphere.
